Better for Your Septic. Better for the Earth.
Our mission is simple: protect our forests and eliminate plastic pollution, one roll at a time. Our biodegradable bamboo toilet paper is septic-safe and designed to break down quickly, helping prevent costly clogs in RV, marine, and household systems. It’s soft, strong, and gentle on your skin while being kind to the planet. Eco-friendly doesn’t stop at the roll. Our packaging is completely plastic-free, right down to the tape. Each roll is wrapped in recycled materials. Our boxes are made from recycled, recyclable paper. Even the roll cores are made from bamboo and are compostable. Each roll is 3-ply with 350 sheets, so they last longer and reduce how often you need to restock.
Why Bamboo Not Trees Exists
Bamboo Not Trees was created to solve two long-standing problems with one smart, sustainable solution:
-
Reducing the need to cut down trees for everyday paper products
-
Eliminating the age-old issue of RV and marine septic clogs caused by traditional toilet paper
With a background in RV, tour bus, and marine repair and maintenance, we understand these challenges firsthand. Our bamboo toilet paper is designed to protect both your plumbing and the planet.

Need-to-Know Facts About Bamboo
1. Bamboo isn’t a tree. It’s a grass, and one of the fastest-growing plants on Earth, capable of growing up to 30 inches (75 cm) per day. It requires minimal water and no fertilizers or pesticides.
2. Bamboo can be continuously harvested without damaging the plant or surrounding environment. It regenerates from its root system, meaning no replanting is necessary.
3. Its intact root structure helps reduce soil erosion and improves soil quality, even in degraded areas.
4. Bamboo grows across the globe in a wide range of climates, from cold mountain regions to tropical environments.
5. Naturally hypoallergenic and pesticide-free, bamboo produces an antibacterial agent called Bamboo Kun.
6. A single hectare of bamboo produces up to 35% more oxygen than hardwood trees and absorbs up to four times more carbon. Thanks to its rapid growth, bamboo is one of the most environmentally responsible resources available.
